Simple recipe for the best banana bread you’ve ever had.
Have you seen those three bananas on your counter?
They are way too ripe to bring them to work for a snack!
But throwing them away would be a terrible mistake!
They are of the perfect consistency to create a sweat and healthy banana bread.
Let me show how:
- 150 g plain flour;
- 1 egg;
- 3 ripe bananas ;
- 16 g baking powder;
- 15 g melted coconut oil;
- 100 ml honey;
- 1/2 teaspoon salt.
The first thing you should do is pre-heating the oven at 180 C, so that it’s nice and warm when your banana bread needs to go in.
Then grease a load pan or line with parchment paper.
You don’t want your bread to stick to the pan and get ruined!
In a mixing bowl mash the bananas, add the eggs and honey. Stir everything well to combine.
In a separate bowl mix the flour, the baking powder and the salt.
Add this last mixture to the rest of the ingredients, stirring well until you get a sweet and delicious butter.
Mix in the coconut oil and then put the content in the pan.
Place the pan in the oven for 35-45 minutes and you’ll have an amazing honey-glazed bread ready for breakfast, dessert or for a sweet brake!
